Red Bull Hosts the First Annual Girl’s Camp
Paola Longoria, the No. 1 female racquetball player on the planet teamed up with one of her major sponsor, Red Bull, to conduct a racquetball camp with her Coach, Fran Davis, in Monterrey, MX October 20-22.

It was EXCITING as Red Bull ran regional racquetball tournaments October 6-8 all over Mexico for Girl’s 14 & Girl’s 16 in the following 8 cities: Tijuana, San Luis Potosi, Monterrey, Merida, Los Reyes, Guadalajara, Chihuahua and Mexico City.

The winners of each division won an all expense paid trip to Monterrey, MX to participate in a racquetball camp with Paola Longoria and Fran Davis as well as Paola’s trainer, Efrain Lara, a Nutritionist, a Motivational Speaker and how to handle the Media (such as the Social Media Platforms) and how to conduct interviews.

Paola and I spent time on the court covering stroke mechanics, shots of the game, the serve, relocation after the serve and the serve return. We drilled, played and did lots of critiquing. We also had an evening of video analysis and covered game plans, strategy and mental toughness.

It was not only a great learning experience for all the girls, but they had lots of fun and made some new friends. I’ll see some of them at Jr. World’s November 3-11, 2017 in Minneapolis, MN.
