Rocky Carson Earns Trio of Honors at U.S. National Championships Tempe, Arizona – May 28th , 2017
Rocky had quite the weekend in the Arizona desert at the 2017 USA Racquetball National Singles Championships. On the courts at the campus of Arizona State University, Carson won the Men’s Singles National Championship for the second year in a row.
The event served as the final stage for the selection of the U.S. National Team that will represent the United States at international competitions through 2018.
Rocky’s win in Tempe cemented his spot on the U.S. National Team, his 15th career team:
2000, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2016, 2017 US National Champion
2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2016 US National Doubles Champion
On Saturday evening during the tournament, Carson was bestowed another honor as he was named USA Racquetball’s Male Athlete of the Year.
