CONGRATULATIONS to PAOLA LONGORIA for winning the 1st Tournament, a Grand Slam,
of the 2017-2018 Season in San Luis Potosi, MX
Paola Longoria, the No. 1 ranked female racquetball player in the World, won her second tournament of the new season on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) with me coaching her court side. Paola’s win in the Women’s Professional Singles Division at the “Toreno Milenio” Tournament in Tijuana comes just a week after she opened the 2017-18 LPRT Season with a win at an event in her hometown of San Luis Potosi, making it back-to-back wins.

Paola Longoria, who has finished as the No. 1 ranked racquetball player in the World on eight previous occasions on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT), began the 2017-18 season in the same dominating fashion. At her namesake ‘Paola Longoria Experience’ tournament in her hometown of San Luis Potosi, MX, August 18-20, 2017, Paola won both the Women’s Professional Singles and Doubles Divisions. The fives days of intense training with me prior to the tournament on the court tweaking the technical aspect of the game along with playing and working on the strategy & tactics of the game, plus working off the court with her Personal Trainer, Efrain, and her Sports Psychologist, Magaly, paid big dividends.
There are not many professional athletes who have an event named after them while in their prime, but Paola is no ordinary athlete! She is a previous 2-time winner of Mexico’s National Sports Award, on Forbes Magazine’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Mexico list and was her country’s flag bearer at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Paola’s win to kick off the new LPRT season became her 83rd Professional Women’s Singles tournament title of her career. Paola holds more individual professional event titles than Tiger Woods (79), John McEnroe (77), Serena Williams (72), Billie Jean King (67) and Andre Agassi (60).
