February Update 2013-Paola Longoria / Jordan Cooperrider Steal the Show and Taylor Knoth is Back!

When Paola Longoria, the #1 Women's Professional Player, stepped on the court in Overland Park, Kansas on February 24th for the Championship Final of the 2013 Winter Classic over the weekend, it had been 1 year, 9 months and 23 days since she lost a match on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT). That’s 665 consecutive days since Paola did not come away the victor. No matter how you calculate it, it has been a very, very long time. And the result in Overland Park was the same as the previous 16 LPRT events with Paola winning yet another title

January 2013 Update

Rocky had a great start to the 2nd half of the season...2 tournaments and 2 finals. He had one win and one 2nd, to Kane. I know being home for the holidays and getting time with the family and time to rest was a key component in such a strong start. The first weekend in January, Rocky was in his home town of So. CA and performed well, beating Alvaro Beltran in the semi finals in a tie-breaker to advance to the finals. When he showed up on Sunday to play the finals against Kane he showed up to play.

Rocky Carson Wins His 1st Pro Stop of the 2012/2013 Season-Mid-December 2012 Update

Rocky walked away with the first ROLLOUT New Jersey Open Championship by beating Alvaro Beltran in an exciting 5 game match....7, 3, (5), (9), 8. It was a white knuckle match for me, the coach, because Rocky won the first 2 games and he was in complete control of the match and looked  like he'd win it in 3 games.  The champion that Alvaro is, dug deep and pulled out the next 2 games bringing it to a 5th and deciding game. It was back and forth until Rocky went up to a 7-3 lead, but then Alvaro had some

I was nine years old when I first entered a racquetball court.  I remember playing with  my mom.  She had joined a gym, but she couldn’t leave me alone at home so she enrolled me in a Junior Racquetball program as she always wanted me to be active. I played once a week for two years.  I had no idea of where the path would take me. I competed in my first tournament when I was eleven.  It was an Oregon Junior Tournament and I played in the beginners division.  I won!  It was pretty intense, but I absolutely loved
